The next Foundation Course has now been deferred to 2018. This page will be updated accordingly.

Wednesday evenings 6.30 – 8.00 pm. at Colet House (see below)

>    Practical methods:  What are they; how they work and how to choose the best way for you.
>    Consciousness:  What is it?
>    The desire for Truth: Can we know it?
>    Free will: Do we really possess it?
>    What is the brain? How does it work in self-development?
>    Developing emotion:  Opening the heart. A new way of understanding.
>    Energy:  Understanding psychology and physiology and how they affect each other.
>    Human beings and the Universe?  Universal Laws in science, art, music and human life.
>    What is Time?  Becoming free of the past and the future.

Any of these subjects could occupy a lifetime, but in this short course we will discuss, in plain, everyday English, how modern science, philosophy and psychology now stand in relation to all these things. The object is to give a simple, common sense orientation towards the spiritual possibilities available to all kinds of people living in the midst of life today and establish a sound basis for any further interest.
Classes are for 1½ hours.
Brief study material will be emailed out before each meeting. The focus of these friendly, informal evenings will be on questions and answers.

London classes are currently sponsored by the Study Society and are held at Colet House, 151 Talgarth Rd, London W14 9DA.

Payment is by voluntary, weekly donation to the Study Society.

Barons CourtBarons Court Station is 100m walk and there is free parking in Margravine Gardens behind the station.
